Decorating the house is one of the most effective ways to create a special Eid atmosphere for your kids, and it should not be just about decorating, it should be about you and your kids preparing it with a lot of LOVE and JOY!

Set your goals to be “Ihsan” and spreading the joy by getting your kids to love Eid and know that it is all about good deeds. It’s a perfect time to let them understand that Eid is the reward for their good acts through the holy month of Ramadan.

Good deeds gates

It can be flags or Masjid (Mosque) gates with words that represents good deeds on them. We have chosen this idea to strengthen good deeds and ideas that you tried to teach your child through the month of Ramadan. This part of decoration is going to show positive messages on meaningful shapes such as Masjid (Mosque)  door or simple shapes like circles or flags (good deeds words can be simply typed, or you can decorate them with lovely colors and little flowers)

We will need:

  • Printer to print our template/ or you can hand draw your own
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Wrapping paper to decorate gates
  • Glue
  • Colored card stock or paper

Here are the steps

We printed Masjid (Mosque)  gates on colored paper and cut them out. Then we prepared words of good deeds and glued each one to a gate, and then we decorated with wrapping paper too. Download the template here.
